Testing the Site's Video Capabilities

It seems to me that to be always partly broken is to be also ALWAYS PARTLY OPEN to a greater mystery-even if I haven't always got a clue.

Since this is a new blog for me, I'm testing some of the site's capabilities.  The following YouTube video was made by me a couple years ago and has little to do with this particular post.  It is about following a way forward, trusting in God.  So, well-maybe it does relate to the idea of brokenness in a round-about, positive sense.  Finding a clue is when brokenness and confusion, uncertainty, etc. is waded through with a faith-pervaded outlook.  I can thank Thomas Merton for the ideas behind this short video.

Mimesis (Imitation) and Scapegoating in ALWAYS PARTLY BROKEN

Initially, identifying violent mimesis in ourselves can be a scary or a depressing thing: “You mean I was involved in this violent thinking and acting and didn’t know it?” And we may at first be unwilling to see it. “No! I was never Cain! I was always Abel, the good guy, the victim of the situation and the bearer of outrageous fortune .”
